Court Rules and Dress Code

Dignity, respect and decorum are necessary to insure a proper court atmosphere.  Proper dress is required for court appearance.  The following items of clothing are NOT ALLOWED:

words or pictures on clothing or jewelry which are offensive, vulgar or profane;

advertisements on clothing for alcohol, tobacco or illegal drugs

exposed midriffs or suggestive clothing

halter style and undershirt garments

excessively low rise jeans, pants, skirts or shorts.

Cell phones and pagers must be on silent mode or turned off.

Computers are allowed, if silent.

Headphones are not allowed.
